Financial Impact Paper Published in HALMJ
PBI Education and the LSU Health Shreveport Research team conducted research “The Financial Impact of Professional Discipline on Clinicians: A Case for Preventive Education,” which was published in the March edition of the American Association for Physician Leadership’s Healthcare Administration Leadership & Management Journal.
The 2021 study analyzed the financial impact of professional discipline on clinicians. Those data were used to develop hypotheses and recommendations for enhancing education or training to reduce the need for formal discipline at the outset.
